KLEIN

Soprano and Sugar Aficionado

Jocelyn Lonquist Klein, a native of Pensacola, FL, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Samford University in Birmingham, AL.  She currently resides in NYC, but she frequently travels to perform in tours, regional theatres, and cruise ships across the world.

Jocelyn recently opened the First National Tour of Miracle on 34th Street the Musical, originating the role of Miss Crookshank, and she loved touring the country at Christmas!

Other recent credits include originating the role of Courtney in Mattel’s brand-new show, American Girl Live!, performing as the Lead Singer in the North Ameican Tour of Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland (alongside her husband!), and playing Frenchy and understudying Sandy in Grease at the Argyle Theatre on Long Island. Prior to this production, Jocelyn performed in Grease on Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas, where she played Patty Simcox and understudied Sandy. You could say, “Grease is the Word” around here!

Jocelyn’s other favorite credits include the North American Tours of Charlie Brown Christmas Live, Anne of Green Gables, and A Christmas Carol, as well as regional productions of Sister Act, The Marvelous Wonderettes, The Little Mermaid, Bright Star, White Christmas, The Drowsy Chaperone, She Loves Me, Cinderella, and West Side Story.  During her time in NYC, Jocelyn made her off-Broadway debut in Vital Theatre Company's brand-new musical, Kid Frankenstein, and frequently performs in cabarets with her girl group gone retro, The Randy Andys, at 54 Below, The Green Room 42, and Don’t Tell Mama!

When she is not performing, Jocelyn teaches music, dance, and drama in schools across New York City with Broadway Bound Kids, and helps to make dreams come true as a princess with Melinda’s Children’s Parties.  She also enjoys traveling across the globe with her husband, Casey, visiting her family back home in Florida, and systematically sampling every one of Manhattan's sweet eateries.
