JOCELYN LONQUIST

Soprano and Sugar Aficionado

Jocelyn Lonquist, a native of Pensacola, FL, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Samford University in Birmingham, AL.  She currently resides in NYC, but she frequently travels to perform in regional houses and tours across the continent.

Jocelyn recently finished an 8-week run of Grease at the Argyle Theatre on Long Island, playing the role of Frenchy and understudying Sandy. Prior to this production, Jocelyn was performing in Grease on Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas during the 2022-23 season, where she played Patty Simcox. You could say, Grease is the Word around here! Jocelyn’s other recent credits include the North American Tours of Charlie Brown Christmas Live, Anne of Green Gables, and A Christmas Carol, as well as regional productions of Sister Act, The Marvelous Wonderettes, The Little Mermaid, Bright Star, White Christmas, The Drowsy Chaperone, She Loves Me and West Side Story.  During her time in NYC, Jocelyn made her off-Broadway debut in Vital Theatre Company's brand-new musical, Kid Frankenstein, and frequently performs in cabarets at 54 Below, the Duplex, and Don’t Tell MamaShe especially loves doing shows with her girl group gone retro, The Randy Andys!

When she is not performing, Jocelyn teaches music, dance, and drama in schools across New York City with Dance.Laugh.Learn, and helps to make dreams come true as a princess with New York Princess Parties.  She also enjoys traveling across the globe, visiting her dad, mom, and two sisters back home in Florida, and systematically sampling every one of Manhattan's sweet eateries.
